THE WORLD ACCORDING TO LILI

Yesterday, we went on an hour and a half train to Venice and believe it or not I slept through the entire journey because I wasn’t well. We got to Venice and it was a beautiful sight. We had a little walk around Venice and then we started looking for a place to eat but they were either closed or did not exist. We finally found somewhere to eat and I had pasta fagiole. Then we were thinking of going on a Gondola and getting a little mask since that’s a tradition in Venice. We got me a gold, black and white jingly mask and we got a parasol because we were going on a gondola. When we went on the gondola there were these really horrid plain ones and we wanted to go on a comfy one. There was a comfy one next to the plain one and we asked a man who’s it was and it was his. He let us go on it and it was absolutely beautiful. Surprisingly he told us about his Blue Peter badge that he got from teaching one of the presenters how to drive a gondola. He was a gondolier for 20 years and when we got off the gondola I got a picture with him. We then went out for a drink and an ice cream and we went to st marks square. There was a band behind us and they were very very talented. We then got a water bus to the train station and we nearly missed the train. when we were on the train we played uno and we nearly missed getting off the train because the door was broken.  Then we went home and slept. Great!

When I had breakfast I had crispy bacon, really thin pineapple, toast, ciabatta (not like the sort in England), and a really nice watermelon juice! It was super classy. We then went over to this American family we met and had a small chat since it was their last day. After we went back to our table and suddenly a wasp flew to the table because we had a jam jar open and I literally jumped out of my seat avoiding it. It went on my mummy’s bread and so we left. What a morning…

Now we are off to Venice to have new adventures!

Whats up peeps! Today was amazing. We went to the lake to have a ride and we were going to drive the boat by our selves! It was absolutely gorgeous and even I got to drive all  by myself! The view was lovely and when we headed back we got lost and thankfully mummy found the way back. Then we went back to our apartment.

When I went to the pool, I did not want to go in. Everybody tried to bring me in but I got in a strop and read my book. After a while I went for a paddle and my daddy started to splash me and I ended up swimming! He started to teach me how to dive like Tom Daley but that did not go very well so I did lots of running jumps and only a few dives.Then I got out of the pool and dried off. We had lunch back in our mobile home and started to chillax.
